Truepost is built on open source, the same way Security Architects and eRacks Systems work - we use it, and we say where it came from.
An example: when you sign in with a password, Truepost finds your mail server the way Thunderbird does. It checks your domain's own DNS records and Mozilla's ISPDB, the open database of mail settings behind Thunderbird's setup wizard. Only your domain is looked up - never your address or your password.
The server is Python (FastAPI, IMAPClient, dnspython), the app is Svelte, encrypted mail opens with GnuPG, and the "where did this really come from" flags use MaxMind's GeoLite2 data. The full list, with licenses: Open Source at Truepost.
